Mule Deer

Rifle rut hunts are 5 days 6 nights. We do NOT archery hunt these ranches before the rifle season. On all our guided hunts lodging and home cooked meals are provided. Traditional breakfast, sandwiches and snacks for lunch in the field and home cooked meals for dinner. Hunters will stay in a house with their own room, heated camper trailer or hotel depending on location. 2024 season dates are November 16th - December 1st. These are drawing hunts and can be drawn first year applying but usually takes 2-3 points to draw. Points can be bought during the fall season for $10 a piece. WWO will help you through the draw process. Rifle hunt success rate is 90-100% on deer ranging from 150”-180” with the occasional 180”+. This is a high success, low effort hunt that is great for hunters that are past their prime or mobility impaired. 2023 and 2024 season our rifle hunters were 100%

Archery rut hunts are 5 days 6 nights. 2024 season dates are November 4th - December 15th. We have ranches that are archery only. Archery licenses can be purchased at South Dakota Game and Fish office in Fort Pierre. (Closed on weekends and holidays.) Archery stalk opportunity for 140”+ mule deer is 100%. In my opinion archery mule deer is one of the best hunts out there and this is one of the best mule deer archery hunts in the country for opportunity. For hunters looking for their first spot and stalk archery hunt there is no better place or animal to hone in your skills. It will humble you and make you a better spot and stalk hunter.
